  2. SUNNY SPELLS INSTRUCTIONS

  5. INTRODUCTION

  7. Thank you for buying Sunny Spells.  Sunny Spells is aimed at 
  8. making spelling for children, both young and old, FUN!  To 
  9. achieve this I have included lots of colourful graphics, two 
  10. distinctive characters, animation scenes and amusing sound 
  11. effects.

  13. CONTROL
  14.  
  15. All control is via the mouse.
  16.  
  17. LOADING
  18.  
  19. To load, reset the machine and  place the disk in any drive or 
  20. alternatively double click on the icon from workbench.  Please 
  21. keep the disk in the drive whilst playing.
  22.  
  23. Once loaded, you will see the main title screen.  From this 
  24. screen you can choose from the various settings listed below.
  25.  
  26. AGE
  27. 3-6    Pictures and easy words.
  28. 7-10   Easy words without pictures.
  29. 11+    Hard words without pictures.
  30.  
  31. CHANCES
  32. 3      3 chances.
  33. 5      5 chances.
  34. ?      Between 1 and 10 chances (gamble).
  35.  
  36. Chances are the number of times you are allowed to make a 
  37. wrong guess.  Once you have chosen your settings, select 'GO' 
  38. (you can't miss it) and you will see the main game screen.
  39.  
  40. The object of the game is simply to keep the sun in the sky. 
  41. To make a guess simply select a letter from the alphabet panel 
  42. on the right hand side of the screen.  Depending on your 
  43. choice being right or wrong an appropriate short animation  
  44. will follow.  This animation can be switched off at any time 
  45. during play by selecting the 'ON/OFF' button.

  47. If you manage to spell the word correctly, watch carefully as 
  48. the sun evaporates that miserable, dull, ugly cloud.  If you 
  49. don't guess the word then... well I'll let you witness the 
  50. results for yourself.

  52. I have also included an option within the title screen for the 
  53. user to load a new set of words and pictures.  An extra disk 
  54. can be provided if there is a demand.  When loading new words 
  55. and pictures, simply replace the game disk with the new disk 
  56. and click on the DISK icon.
